The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development presents its first ASCD virtual conference beginning January 2002.
Starting January 28, 2002, the ASCD Annual Conference 2002 Online features like "Previewing the Conference"- interviews with conference presenters and coordinators - and (need a name for the infomercials that Kathleen will be hosting).
As the conference gets underway March 9-11 in San Antonio, the Annual Conference Online 2002 will offer a real-time window into the meeting. Choosing to Dance: Taking Bold Steps for the Sake of Our Children is the theme for this year's conference. Dr. M. Joycelyn Elders, Doctor of Pediatric Endocrinology and Former Surgeon General of the United States, gives the opening keynote address. The Annual Conference Online 2002 brings you video of her address, as well as eight other conference sessions, with a special focus on health in education issues.
All Annual Conference Online 2002 programs will be offered via Internet audiostream, accompanied by transcripts of their sessions (hotlink here to access summary of those sessions).
